CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Honda Accord has a solid reputation (so far), with one very significant flaw: uncomfortable seats.
Owners have consistently reported uncomfortable seats with the entire 8th generation (2008-2012) of Honda Accords. Complaints range from back pain to leg circulation problems due to bad lumbar support, cushioning, & seat angle. Complaints aren't limited to only a certain body type -- the seat comfort problems are from a wide spectrum of owner height & weight.
The common theme we hear is "never noticed this during the test drive." Unfortunately for unwary buyers, the seat pain is noticeable after 15-20 minutes.

I have a 2011 Honda Accord V6 coupe. At approximately 11:39 hours on 8/15/2023 my car lost all steering and brakes and spun violently multiple times across the highway. Thankfully the car did not impact another vehicle and ended up on the side of the road in soft sand. A scan tool revealed a trouble code for a failing or fault within the VSA modulator. This module controls both the brake system and stability control in one unit. At the time of the above aforementioned incident 2 warning lights were on the dash for the following: ABS and Stability control. The Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to the incident. I file this complaint because the safety of other drivers and myself were placed in serious jeopardy.
I have spent over $2500 in brakes over the past 2 years and this time when purchasing new tires for my car, I was told it needed front and back brakes again!!! I did not put them on the car this time as my budget was exceeded with the tires. Now, it needs a catalytic converter which I will need in order to pass inspection. I am ready to give this car back to the dealer in which I got it from!!!!
For the past two and half years, I have had to replace my brakes at almose every oil change. This time, it has only been about 6 weeks since they have been replaced
I contacted to Honda dealer near my place today regarding the recall for the airbag. They did not know when they will have the parts and refused to provide a rental car. Honda told me not to allow anyone seat on the passenger side when I asked them a temporary remedy because I do not want to risk any life of my family. It did not make sense that I can not take more than 4 people including myself.
While traveling on the highway, I noticed excessive vibration on braking. I took the car to the Honda dealer and was informed that the front rotors were warped. This was the second time I had this occurred in this car. At approximately 18,000 miles I had the same situation. Honda resurfaced the rotors and this problem disappeared. Honda is refusing to change the rotors. This is a safety and manufacturing defect that Honda should recall. Please attend to this matter urgently.

Left front break fills like it's not breaking properly, makes a noise when breaking at all times slow or fast.I have call Honda for this issue and see if more people have complain about this and they said no one else had.I hope no one else has the same problem but if they do so Honda can do a recall to fixed the problem
As I was completing a left hand turn, I applied pressure to the brake and my car began to accelerate despite my foot being firmly applied to the brake. I continued to maintain pressure to the brake yet the car continued to accelerate where I hit an embankment / tree, I steered the car back onto the road and turned off the ignition. I contacted Honda though was given a report indicating that there weren't any diagnostic codes & the Honda factory engineer drove the car 5 to 6 miles without acceleration issues. I'm greatly concerned because I drove the car for over 13,000 miles prior to this without having acceleration problems and I've read roughly 18 other complaints with the 2011 Accord on this site citing various acceleration problems! just seems to me there should be something more I should be able to do, but I can't afford to just walk away from the car!
