I have a love, hate relationship with my 2009 Accord EXL V6. As long as I am not traveling more than 50 miles round trip, I love to drive this car, any thing over 50 miles is Chiropractor time. It's not just the drivers seat, the passengers seat is even worse. This car has only 39000 miles because I will not drive it any distance. I opt for a rental car instead.

Can anyone tell me if their is a fix for this condition short of trading it in? Are Acura seats any better? will they fit?

The road noise was quieted to a level that you can actually talk to someone in the car and here the radio without blowing out the speakers. Kudos to Michelin's new quiet tire.

After about a year of driving my brand new Accord, I started hearing a low but constant noise that seems to be caused by the rotation of the tires. I don't know if it is the tires or something else in that area. I brought my car to the Honda dealership to check it out and on the first and second occasion was told that it was caused by the tire pressure. One of the tires was under inflated. On the third occasion, which was less than a month later, I was experiencing a pull to the left and my steering wheel was vibrating along with the rotational noise. I asked for the tires to be rotated, balanced and checked for wear, holes, and/or nails, etc. I was told everything looked good. On the fourth occasion, again within a month of the third visit we stopped into Honda and explained the rotational sound and was again told it could be the tire pressure. The technician checked my tires and ensured the correct psi was in each tire. On the fifth occasion I made sure I had a documented appointment for the purpose of the rotational noise and told the technician that I had checked the tire pressure and they were all inflated to the correct psi. I was told that the technician could not hear the noise I was talking about and therefore could not do anything about it. Several other people who have been in my car have heard the sound, one of which is a mechanic, so it is not my imagination and is not 'normal' road noise as I was told by the Honda technician. My question then becomes, if I have brought my car in several times for a rotational noise and it has always been diagnosed as tire pressure, why then are they not looking into a defective tire or something? I know tire pressure fluctuates with changes in temperature but I should not have to put air in my tires every couple of weeks to keep my car from making a noise. Not to mention the temperature hasn't fluctuated that much from September to February...
