Car was bought used from Planet Honda in Denver at 33k for $17k. Soon after discovered both rear alloy wheels were ruined. Someone had hit a curb and put on rear so would not be noticeable. Price for 2 new wheels, realignment and adjustable control arm for rear over $1000. At 63k discovered loose spark plug had stripped spark plug hole and damaged coil pack, needing new insert (documented Honda factory defect: http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?p=842709
). Took to Fuoco Honda (Grand Junction, CO) for service. They dropped piece of metal in engine, possibly coil pack screw. 3k miles later, at 66k, connecting rod bearing disintegrated, causing a loud knock. Now engine needs total rebuild and $8k still owed on car.
