Ongoing problem for Honda. 4 other 2007 Honda same accidents reported to NHTSA Picked up hundreds and hundreds of identical accidents on the internet. Have filed complaint with attorney general since Honda will not take responsibility for all these accidents Have sent in pages and pages of these accidents to the attorney general. Since Honda will not spend time or money to find the cause and therefore do not recall. There have been fatal accidents with this problem but cannot get details on those because we are sure Honda made a settlement in those cases with the agreement that nothing would go public. How many more people must get injured or killed before somebody takes responsibility for this problem. Full details can be found using the internet. Strange as It seems it only happens on right hand turns. The only true statement about Honda vehicles is that they have the best resale value in the industry, but not my car which is still under warranty but has lost $6000 in resale value because of this accident. It took Honda and the Travelers insurance company 2 months before my car was repaired. This happened in Baltimore in a parking spot that ended with a 6 inch concrete curb. My insurance covered the car repair less my deductible and $900 to rent a car. Howewver, I had to pay for the additional rental and to have my car shipped down to where we were headed for our 3 month winter stay which was Myrtle Beach, SC. The impact in a single parking spot was so intense. My car became a rocket ship, oil was flowing all over the street, the motor was smoking, etc. We asked Travelers, our insurance company to have their legal department pursue this case since they were aware that this is on ongoing problem. As an individual we would now have their clout. They preferred to put out about $11,000 to fix the car, etc. and then they canceled our insurance. Our 3 month stay in Myrtle Beach was a nightmare. Nobody should have to go through something like that. We were lucky that a concrete curbed stopped the car. On the open road this does happen. We have cases where a driver could not stop the car, even turning off the engine, and the result was hitting other vehicles, landing in the hospital etc. Nobody should have to deal with this type of situation. We hope our attorney general will follow up. Please spread the word. Honda does not stand behind their cars. Thank you
