I have contacted auto parts dealers to determine if the 1994 and 1995 SRS control units are interchangable. They are. Therefore, the recall on the 1994 Accord for failure of this part should have applied to all of the 1995 Accord. Why has NHTSA not required Honda to recall all models of the Accord in these years for failure of this part?
Owner has problems with fastening seat belts; she states when driver's side seat belt is fastened it gets very tight, causing the owner to think twice about wearing it. Consumer states seat belt is not long enough for driver to use therefore can no, short heavy person can not reach pedal and seat belt will not go completlt around consumer, therefore have to drive without seat belt.
