This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.

While driving, both tach and speed needles dropped to 0, engine died and had to switch off. Sometimes, the car would start back up again. Other times, the engine would die right after the engine starts. It sometimes would take about 15 minutes of switching the keys off/on before the engine would stay running. Then after some distance, the engine would die without warning again.
- the contact owns a 1995 Honda Accord. The contact stated that on 12/27/1997 the dealer installed a new SRS control unit. A few months after the repair, she began having problems with the SRS consistently engaging, and had the SRS reset on four different occasions since getting a new one on 12/27/1997. The SRS light continued to stay on. The contact stated that the last time it was reset was 2003, and a month later, the light turned on again, and it has been on every since. The contact stated that there was a safety recall on this component, but this vehicle id number is not included due to the VIN. The contact stated the vehicle could not pass inspection because of the SRS light being on. The contact would like the vehicle to be included in the safety recall. The consumer complained about an exhaust noise coming from the vehicle, so the dealer installed an exhaust kit. The thermostat and head gasket cover were replaced. The timing belt and cv joints were replaced. Updated 03/30/07.
A/C-heat- the switch to change hot/cold on dash keeps breaking. It "freezes into on position, and you cannot adjust the temperature. Driver power window switch- only when it rains or snows the window will go down just fine, but will not go back up. You have to keep the window up so you can pull up on the window glass and press the window switch "up" to get the window back up (if your lucky & it goes up !!!) transmission-the transmission slips when you go around a corner. It also slips if you are coming up behind someone, slow down for them to turn (or whatever) when you re-accelerate, the trans. Slips, then kicks in. When you are going 65mph on a highway, the trans. "jumps", and you can watch it do so on the tachometer while it does so.
While driving at 35 mph the A/C unit started to get hot and then temperature gauge went all the way up, and the vehicle overheated, causing the anti-freeze to leak out of the engine.
