So ive had this 1995 Honda Accord for over a year now... - This little pain in the ass oil deal has been off and on at it's own time throughout owning it... I always and i mean ALWAYS check the oil dipstick and usually it's fine for the most part..Holds oil, doesn't leak or burn any oil,no smoke etc..Well once in a blue moon i get this RIDICULOUS OIL LEVEL DROP READING on the DIPSTICK for an example..I checked oil before my One hour (56 mile) trip it was FULL i get there(to my destination),it read LOW.So after starting it,letting it run, checking it over and over while (off) everytime,it still said it was low so i added oil to the full line like normal but still couldn't understand why it read so damn low, where did the oil go??..So i drove the car 8 miles and back to park it,checked the oil GUESS WHAT!? Oil dipstick read that it was OVERFILLED!! WTF!! Where did this oil hide to,before it decided to magically come back!!?? So i had to drain the overfilled oil out!! Im not understanding this annoying problem but it happens once in a while..Most of the time, the dipstick would read normal and from time to time, being that its a high mileage car,i'd add a little bit to top it off ever so often & it'd be fine... SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER THAT ONE..HAS ANYBODY HAD THIS MAGICAL OIL TRICK BEFORE??!!
