While driving, both tach and speed needles dropped to 0, engine died and had to switch off. Sometimes, the car would start back up again. Other times, the engine would die right after the engine starts. It sometimes would take about 15 minutes of switching the keys off/on before the engine would stay running. Then after some distance, the engine would die without warning again.

1995 Honda Accord ex, automatic transmission: Initially, dash lights do not light up when key is in "run" position. Starter motor will turn over, but because there is no ignition current, engine will not start. Non-ignition "on" related accessories (radio, power windows) work fine. However, this occurs intermittently. Eventually, on an occasion when the engine does start, after starting and running, the engine will die while the car is in motion. Please see NHTSA campaign id # 02V120000 for 1997 and newer Accord. Ignition "switch plate" was replaced by dealer but problem has returned.
