The speedometer/odometer stopped working at 192,000 miles or so. I bought the car with this issue. I have no idea how many miles the car actually had. Speedometer needle would stay around 20 MPH, but without increasing the odometer. A few times a year the speedometer would start working again. I never had this problem fixed.
My speedometer won't work. All my other dash stuff works. It sucks. I was told it is --- well, I didn't really listen since I had a man there to talk for me. Long story short, The cheap way is a rebuild and that costs $200+ and will last about 6 months to a year. Or I could spend $600+ to last a little bit longer. Ummm, no thanks. I guess I will use that RPM thingy.
