Well, I cannot complain too much,it now has 278,000+ miles,& this is first major expense. The car shifted abnormally [this is the mechanic's diagnosis] Found car to shift from 4th gear down to 3rd at a steady cruising speed.d4 light flashing,Car takes off in 2nd gear from a dead stop.Car also taking longer to reach an operating temp. The mechanic replaced the thermostat & gasket, replaced faulty transmission control unit,28100-px4-722,& adjusted throttle pressure. So far this has fixed it,& it is performing like new again.Had it repaired so we could sell it.It is still a nice car w/ a lot of miles.Looks good, inside & out,my wife's car,she has maintained it well. If any of you decides to fix yours, don't bother changing the little resistor,go ahead & change the entire board.Mechanic says doesn't last long to just repair the resistor. Another thing to remember,do NOT touch this board unless you have on a grounding strap as it will store up static electricity,& eventually you will have a failed computer board & be wondering why it did not last any longer. Good luck, & HAPPY MOTORING!!!!!!!
