This has the potential to be downright dangerous, as well as unnerving, & downright smelly. It may even be hazardous to my health. Whenever I use the heater, or defroster, a mist comes out of the vents. It smells like antifreeze. Instead of clearing my windshield, it covers it in a film, obscuring vision. I had to use tissues and even a squeegie to clear it off. This would be an expensive repair ($100-$200 range). I had just finished paying for a new radiator (hit-and-run "gift") and Christmas, so I toughed it out and didn't drive far. Apparently the heater core also affects the air conditioner. When it's set on highest blower, coldest setting, what appears to be smoke (without the burning smell or the mist), comes out of the vents. Oddly enough, the antifreeze fluid levels in the radiator don't appear to be low.
