I was driving along at about 20-25 MPH through a friend's neighborhood, then suddenly the car jolts like it hit something big. It literally felt like I had hit a curb, yet I didn't. I stop the car to get out and look under; and there is a trail of transmission fluid about 100 FT long behind the car.
The transmission; upon further inspection after being towed to my house; had a large hole in it. A piece of gear was dangling from the hole, along with other chunks of metal.
I am attempting a repair on this, as the car does move under its own power when I add enough fluid. If I can just remove the tranny and remove the broken pieces and JB Weld the hole shut, maybe it will work again.
I have bought a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria since that has happened. It eats up a lot of gas. I want my Honda to work again.
Thank you,
Brandon
