Bought the Genesis 2022 model GV70. Took on a roadtrip. Had about 5000 miles after owning it for a year.
Check engine came on. Contacted Genesis Connect Services. Car was still operational, but they said they could tow it to nearest Genesis Certified Dealer-- more than 200 miles away in wrong direction of where we were heading to on vacation. Waited til we got back from vacation to take in to dealer repair shop. Cause of Check Engine light was fuel injector chip. Dealer had car for about 5 weeks (Sept-Oct ,22) Could not believe with such low mileage that a Check Engine light would come on. Fortunately, the dealer repair shop got creative in hunting for this fuel injector chip as there was still a shortage and back log for all chips during this time.
Car now has 9500 miles on it and no problems at this time.
