Hail damage Aug 5/24 and Genesis dealer has no glass for rear tailgate or windshield. Glass is on back order from Korea and today is Oct 4/24 with no idea when the glass will be available. My assumption is window trim, body panels and probably even a windshield wiper will be difficult to get in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Bodyshop arranged for Oct 29/24 but they say it will be Parts Dependent.
Estimated damage $24000.00 CDN. for insurance but could go up if panels needed and even a new roof as the dents may cause problems with the panoramic sunroof.
A nightmare and insurance only provides $3000.00 for a car rental - but they are not available except at $150/ day at the airport. Insurance insists on an SUV as a GV70 is an SUV and they max that at $76/day.
I hope the repair shop has a better car rental price. This is taking a very long time.
Update from Oct 4, 2024: This is actually about a GV70 not a G70.
