This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The contact owns a 2017 GMC Yukon. While driving various speeds, the contact heard an abnormal rubbing noise coming from the front driver's side wheel. Also, the steering wheel shook without warning. The vehicle was taken to thompson Buick GMC (2600 wake forest rd, raleigh, nc 27609, (919) 809-6217) to be diagnosed, but the failures could not be duplicated. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failures recurred multiple times. The contact referenced bulletin number: 00-03-10-006N. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and provided case number: 9-5435571823. No further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.
The vehicle seems to occasionally stall/sputter when accelerating/proceeding from a stop position at a light or stop sign. Even though on a smooth road surface, the right wheel seems to vibrate. The engine stall is the same instance which occurred in the 2015 vehicle that I traded because it left me stranded. The wheel shaking is not a continuous event. The stalling occurs frequently. An appointment has been scheduled for Monday 8/13 for a dealer inspection of my complaint. Vehicle will be left over and a loaner provided.
