The contact stated that the vehicle was driven until the vehicle eventually slowed down. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed and determined that the rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, and it was determined that the ABS needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 85,000.
