My check engine light keeps coming on. I am over the warranty so I have taken it to my certified mechanic and they cannot figure out what is wrong with it. They have changed the spark plug and have performed an engine flush yet the light comes back on. It goes off for a few days then pops back on. I took it back again to see if they can figure it out but still not fixed. Very annoyed. I went through this with the Air Conditioning when it was leaking freon but they could never find where. This car has been the worst! My 2001 Yukon never had all these issues. I will never buy this again. Just not a reliable car anymore!!

Purchased vehicle used from local car dealer. It was an ex rental with 66,000 km so over the bumper to bumper warranty. Drove it for a week and check engine light came on. Took it to dealer and it was injector 8 that was misfiring. Suggested repair was to replace injector at cost of $850 CDN. This was not covered under the powertrain warranty which surprised me. Service manager mentioned it was not the first time he has come across this issue on the new 2015 yukon/suburban/escalade. It was a carbon buildup and could be a problem on all the new 2015.
