This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
While driving at approximately 65 mph on a highway, the locks engaged, the radio shut down, power steering was lost, and the vehicle slowed down/braked on it's own. Thankfully we were able to move to the side of the road without getting hit. The only message on the dash was "service stabilitrack." The dealer and an independent mechanic have been unable to replicate the error message.
Under normal driving the vehicle will go into "reduced engine power" mode while saying service stabilitrak and stabilitrak off. Give the code referencing a 5A reference. I have replaced the ECM 2X, the accelerator pedal assembly, throttle body entire, high pressure fuel sensor problem continues without remedy. Has happened to many times to count starting in Dec 2008 to present
