From what I have researched, there is an issue with the AFM adversely affecting lifters.it appears there is currently a class action suit against GM but it is for later model Yukons.
This is my third Yukon and I really like the vehicle aside from this engine issue.
Also, the transmission went out at 80K miles. Yukons are beginning to lose their appeal.
