YUKON XL HASS 112,000 MILES HAD SOME LOSS OF POWER, ENGINE STARTED BURNING OIL AND THEN TRACTION CONTROL, STAB LIGHT AND ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. ENGINE STARTED RAPPING. DEALER SAYS ENGINE NEEDS NEW CAM AND LIFTERS OR A MOTOR REPLACEMENT. BEEN TOLD THERE IS A KNOW PROBLEM WITH THE 5.3L ENGINE THAT IS ABLE TO SWITCH FROM 8 TO 4 CYLINDERS.
