I purchased a certified 2008 Yukon from Lafontaine in Michigan and I told the Used car manager about the front fender needing repair. That did not happen because I moved but returned before the 100,000 mile warranty expired. I contacted the dealer in Delaware as well as in Michigan, also contacted GMC direct with absolutely no help or support. I now have rust on the tailgate, hood, door jams, and front fender. According to their body shop I have over $5000.00 of repair work.
I have only owned this vehicle 2 years and it palls in comparison to the experience that I had with my 2001 Toyota Sequoia, with over 400,000 miles and it will be 14 years old 11/6, 2014, it is just beginning to show signs of rust.
I had representatives from GMC on their customer service line actually say to me you live in Michigan what do you expect, really?
I will never buy another American car.
