Takata Recall. The contact owns a 2007 GMC Yukon. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V050000 (Air Bags). The contact stated that there was a crack on the driver-??s side dashboard. There was no impact to the dashboard that could have caused the crack. The dealer was made aware of the recall and failure but informed the contact that while performing the air bag recall repair, there could be additional cracks to the dashboard and the manufacturer would not be responsible for the cost to replace the dashboard. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
