We are making payments on this vehicle from tri-united in lubbock tx. All the engine lights are on and the air bags are missing this vehicle body appears to be wrecked the hood isn't sitting right. The dealership even asked if we could have the vehicle inspected in which it failed the first inspection.
Interior dashboard. Cracked in two places 1.) top left corner of passenger airbag panel 2.) center of gauge dome starting form vent vanes cracked up to nearly top of the gauge dome. This condition started 2018 and has progressively worsened in length. The vehicle has been garage kept its entire ownership. I researched and found that many other owners are E experiencing this same cracking issues in the same location.
The dashboard has cracked in 2 places, 1 in front of the drivers seat, and the other in front of the passenger seat by the airbag. It was already cracked before I bought the vehicle used, but has gotten worse living on a dirt road.

Dashboard structural failure: Vehicle dashboard is suffering from excessive structural failure leading to large lose pieces of plastic than can 1) interfere with airbag deployment, 2) fall off and interfere with brakes and accelerator pedals, 3) cause death and dismemberment in an accident due to excessive cracking and breakage under normal use conditions. This effects all 2007-2014 Chevrolet and GMC light-duty trucks. So literally tens of millions of vehicles. GM has not issued a recall for this structural defect.

The contact owns a 2007 GMC Yukon. While driving 20 mph, the dashboard fractured and all the warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. VIN tool confirms parts not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact owns a 2007 GMC Yukon. While parked and/or driving at any speed, the chrome finish on all four of the interior door handles flaked and the factory edging was extremely rough. The contact's hand had been cut on the door handle due to the rough edging. In addition, the dashboard cracked and the plastic near the defroster had crumbled completely. The vehicle was driven to the dealer, but was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000.
Takata recall, cracks in the dash that run to the air bags on the dash. The center speaker is mounted to the plastic dash and move with the road vibration which breaks the dash along with the uv radiation that weakens the plastic.. the dash could splinter in a crash and wound or kill a passenger.
