I took my GMC Yukon car to the dealer approximately a year after I noticed a slight difference in color from the car paint on the door to the plastic door guard. I asked the service adviser if there was a recall or if had seen this before. He said there has been a recent complaint of door guards fading in color. But they offered no help. Four years down the road, the door guards are in extremely bad shape and the dealer still says there is no recall on this defect. This problem appears to be isolated to Yukons and the dealers and GMC know this a significant problem. I am losing trade in value on looks.
