This is very bad for a luxury car in that standard. By coincidence I found that the back door still opened even though the whole car confirmed the lock with a little beep. This should be happened because the car is only 2 years old and 590,000 kilo. The center lock should be operating for very long time without the need to change. My other Japanese small inexpensive cars have their center lock working without any problem. The GMC is expected to last longer than them. Moreover, This problem happened during the week end and the car had to be kept unlocked in the street for a whole day and night. Then I took it to a work shop but due to the week end also the center lock piece was not available. And I am chocked when I heard the price USD 300 very very expensive for a very very bad quality piece. Today I gave the car to the agent to change the center lock and I have to be without car for 2 days repair. All of this due to cheap parts used by GMC.
