So I had just purchased this truck, even though every fiber of my body told me not to buy another GM vehicle, I decided to ignore myself and buy it anyways. (My wife later kindly reminded my how I had ranted and raved about her getting her crappy GM vehicle and how Sh*tty it has been for us, and I had told her, her only choices for the next vehicle is either a Honda, Toyota, or Lexus.) anyways, the steering was whining pretty bad, kinda like what i'm doing now. So I took it to a rather large GM dealership 5 miles from my house. They have it for about 4.5 hours and finally tell me they didn't hear anything, but changed the power steering fluid to synthetic since it was a common problem, i thought ok sounds good to me. I drive home, but didnt hear anything considering it was thunder and lightning, and mother nature unleashed herself all the way home. The next day however, the whining was there and pretty damn loud, louder than before. Immediately I unleashed some @#$$%$ words and drove back to the dealership. They had it for another 3 hours only to tell me nobody could hear what I was talking about. At that point I was convinced they were all deaf and DUMB. So I tore out of there and took it to another dealership 25 miles away. I explained the problem calmly, and upon start-up they heard the whine right away. HALLELUJAH THE SAINTS BE PRAISED. They gave me a REBUILT pump which started whining again 3 days later, i took it back and they finally gave me a NEW pump. Haven't heard a peep from it in over a year and a half now. Needless to say I don't ever lay foot at that other dealership. I could only pray they would be shut down when GM shut down all those dealerships. But no, they shut down the wrong one, the one I have been taking my vehicles to where the techs actually know a thing or two about cars, and can troubleshoot. So just another reason NOT TO EVER EVER EVER BUY ANOTHER GM CAR AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVER!!!
