DRL Fix For GMC, Etc. Blowing Bulbs - A discussion site that has a GM Tech Bulletin shown on it, plus links to vendors that have cheaper and better replacement bulbs, from what I could gather.
Since the first bulb burned out (DRL), I have either installed myself or paid the dealer to install a total of five bulbs and one new socket. I now have 105,000 miles and a two week old bulb that just burned out.
