When my husband got this truck from his father, he said that a mechanic told his dad that it had a clog and EVERYTHING needed to be pulled out to correct this. Well my husband didn't have the $$ to afford that at the time so he just rolled the windows down and dealt with it. He got a job in mid-2016 that required him to wear a suit and it was warmer weather so we found a mechanic that said he could fix it for $500...he fixed it...for about 2 months then it started doing weird stuff and working intermittently. We took it back sometime in 2017 to be fixed along with some other problems and another $500 later it briefly worked then didn't. FRUSTRATED and have no more patience for mechanics. We bought Haynes manuals for both our vehicles and are going to do some shade tree mechanic work ourselves. Will update if we get it fixed when we get a free weekend to research, diagnose, and correct the problem.
