Second Chevy/GMC 1997-1998 vehicle with serious coolant leakage from the manifold. The leak appears to be coming from the rear of the engine against the firewall. Leaks begins with small amount that results in overheating if uncorrected after a few weeks, then progresses to coolant leaking out while car is or is not running and more than a gallon a day, then finally blowing all the coolant out in only a few miles. Repair cost of around $500 to diagnose and replace manifold gasket.
