The contact's wife owns a 2019 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that upon making a left turn, the steering wheel would forcefully jerk to right, thrusting the vehicle into the opposite direction. The contact stated that the service ESC and service brake assist warning lights were illuminated. The warning lights would disappear soon after the failure as well as upon restart. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer on multiple occasions where he was repeatedly informed that unless the service light was illuminated upon arrival to the dealer, they would be unable to service the vehicle. The vehicle remained in the possession of the dealer and was not repaired. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

9/30/20 driving home and was accelerating to pass another vehicle, the tcs and stabilitrak lights came on and check engine light began to flash. A brief message popped up to service the tcs system and went away. Check engine light stopped flashing but tcs & stabilitrak/traction lights remained on. I stopped the vehicle as soon as I could, turned it off, waiting a few minutes and restarted - all lights had turned off. Problem has not replicated, but am scheduled for service (oil change) at dealer tasca Buick GMC sat Oct 3rd, will discuss during service appointment. (I commute daily round trip 120 miles) this is extremely worrisome)

On February 9th, driving home on a rough highway, my service ESC, ABS, traction control and check engine light (flashing) came on. I immediately pulled over, freaking out. Shut my car off cause I had no clue what to do. Sat for a few minutes, collecting myself and turned it back on. All lights were gone, so I decided to continue the drive home. Took my car into the dealer the following day, found code P0300 stored in history. They did an update, and hoped that would solve my issue. Alas, it did not. This same issue has happened at least 6 times now. The 5th time, again, on a smooth highway, I completely broke down and had to be towed! it has now been sitting at the dealer for two weeks (since July 31st) while they try and diagnose the issue.

Two incident warnings on my dashboard saying of my back hatch was open when it was not. Had it serviced because the dash warning would not shut off. Service said it was fixed then happened again. Twice this happened intermittently. Another incident when on navigation screen, when the Navigator gave directions it changed to phone screen and went back to navigation screen when she stopped talking, like she was calling me to verbally give me directions! the most worrisome was as I was going 50 mph on city street, my gas peddle stopped engaging with the engine and I was loosing speed, as I pressed on the gas peddle harder the car was decreasing in speed as I watched the speedometer. During that incident all was working including brakes, radio and steering. I proceeded to drift into a driveway to stop the car for help, good thing I was not on the freeway could have gotten killed. The car is getting serviced now, I do not want it back, will trade in for different make/model is this considered a lemon and which laws/action do I take? I've only had the car only 7 months when this started to happen.
