This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles with the rear view camera that does not have gridlines when using the rear view camera system. For vehicles built prior to February 1, 2015 this was the design intent, but gridlines can be added to the customer's vehicle. Technician will need to USB program the radio then Service Programming System program the radio to turn the lines on.
