This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have difficulty filling the fuel tank and / or experience fuel spit-back when fueling. Technician will follow published Service Information diagnostics to determine a root cause. If Service Information diagnostics does not isolate the cause of this concern, dealer should replace the fuel tank assembly and fuel pump assembly O-ring seals.
