When leaving my house with my kids in the car, The info center alerted me that not one, not two, but all of the detection systems were failing one by one. Then after they were all cleared they would go off again. At the same time the RPM gauge and Speedometer both went to zero and stayed there only moving every once and a while. The radio and all the systems it controls also went black and I couldn’t make any adjustments to anything. The detection systems have gotten water damage due to poor location and prevention so I get alerted of them failing regularly. The rest of the systems usually work, but not this time, I had to make my way home with no speedometer, rpm gauge, gas gauge, or temp gauge. For GM to not have done anything about this issue is absolutely ridiculous. If their trying to say it doesn’t effect the safety of the vehicle, explain to me how trying to drive with no speedometer or any gauges for that matter is “safe”. This needs to be taken care of on the manufactures side. Owners shouldn’t pay these extraordinary amounts of money for a vehicle with all this fancy stuff, and have it all fail because someone didn't think that putting electrical sensors directly in line with tire spray would cause a problem eventually.
