The actuator that controls the blend door / recirculation door (moves the air from defrost to floor to vent) does not last more than a year in my vehicle. I see on the GMC Terrain forums that it is a common problem. It is a danger when defrost is needed on the windshield, and it doesn't work.
My car had been needing at least 2quarts of oil in between oil changes which I have done every 3000 miles. The timing chain is bad which is caused by excessive oil consumption. The service power steering and stability track light comes on it its messing with the transmission until I disconnect the battery and reset it, and it also leaked inside my glove an f the passenger floorboards
Moved car to shovel drive way. Went to move it back and my car wouldn-??t start. Garage says it is the ECM Garage says GM has a hold on the sale/install on f this part as there is a known issue involving all unit including my vehicle and newer. The only recall currently is for exams for 2018 GMC Terrain ECM. My car will sit at the garage indefinitely.

Radio stsyem went out, wiped blade motor defective, cam shaft sensors went out due to oil consumption, sensor actuator went out due to oil consumption, car would die while driving because of oil consumption/cam shaft error, engine is consuming to much oil-per engine oil study done by my dealership.
I was out of town and had gone to the store and when I got back in my vehicle and it would not start. After, letting it sit for 4 hours it finally cranked up. The battery and fuses were fine. No lights came in on my dash as a warning that something was wrong. This has happened to me before. A diagnostic was run and it throwed out no codes.
Key is locking in the ignition. When turning on the car the screen does not display, stays blank. Cannot turn the radio on or off or up. It's happening more and more. It continues while driving. The gear shifter sticks in park and is extremely hard at times to get it in reverse or drive.
While driving on a rural road the 'collision warning system' activated with no vehicles in sight either in front of me or in the opposing lane. It happened again approximately 3 miles later. I turned the system off. This has the potential of a disastrous out come if I would have been in heavy traffic.
My dashboard and radio flicker on and off and majority of the time stays off. My back camera is connected to the radio and my camera works when it feels like it. When im driving the radio and ll the light of the dashboard and radio will just cut off, when im backing up the camera shuts off.
My car makes a rubbing noise when and only when you stop. Also my forward collision alert comes on when nothing is in front of me. Sometimes it won't even come on when a car is in front of me.
My car completely shut down while turning a corner (powered off). I almost hit a tree because I was unable to turn the steering wheel. Once I applied the brake and put it into park, I was able to restart it with no apparent issue.
As I was driving home after work the car just started making a noise and cut of and did not start had to tow to a GMC dealer that said it need a new engine I as driving on the city street
The infotainment system (including back up camera, audio, navigation, temp display, etc.) freezes or the screen goes black. You can not use the audio controls at all. You can still adjust climate controls, but can not see the display. The back up camera has even been stuck on while no longer in reverse and driving forward. Has happened several different times, no indication to the cause.
Menu screen in my 2014 GMC Terrain go blank about 5 times now and I am starting to wonder what the issue is. There are other people experiencing the same problem and it is not due to the blutooth or gps redirecting. This also made my car completely shut off at a drive thru.
When shifting car from drive to park key will not turn all the way and will not come out ignition. Have to disconnect battery for key to come out. If leave key in ignition dash board lights stays on and battery charge will go down.
