I just can't figure out how they determine the brightness level on the screen displaying the rear backing cam and the radio/climate controls, clock and entertainment system menu! The display will just suddenly go dim and it doesn't seem to matter what the outside (ambient) lighting is. There is no way to adjust it. It just seems to randomly determine bright or dark - and there's no in between.
I've googled myself to death and there is no know fix for this problem. It's not serious other than if you NEED to access the display (check the time, change the station, etc) it's a serious distraction while driving if you can't see in low light situations. Be careful out there and don't hurt yourself or someone else!
