This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have difficulty filling the fuel tank and / or experience fuel spit-back when fueling. Technician will follow published Service Information diagnostics to determine a root cause. If Service Information diagnostics does not isolate the cause of this concern, dealer should communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern.
