- THIS TECHNICAL BULLETIN PROVIDES A PROCEDURE TO INSPECT ALL FOUR OF THE LIFT GATE MOUNTING BRACKETS AND REPLACE BRACKETS IF NECESSARY TO CORRECT A CUSTOMER CONCERN THAT AFTER OPENING THE POWER LIFT GATE, IT WILL NOT STAY IN THE FULL OPEN POSITION AND MAY DRIFT DOWN A FEW INCHES BEFORE COMING TO A REST CAUSED BY TO AN INCORRECT BALL STUD STRUT BRACKET BEING INSTALLED DURING ASSEMBLY.
