The contact owns a 2010 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that the air bag warning light would illuminate intermittently. The vehicle was inspected by the dealer who advised her that the wire leading to the air bag was fractured and would need to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired yet the failure recurred within a few days. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the dealer advised that they would need to order a special lubricant for the air bags. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 8,900. Updated 3/22/11 the air bag light problem has been resolved. Updated 04/25/11
