The vehicle is about 4 1/2 years old and there is already a hole in the exhaust. Poor metal quality. Fixed it myself by braze welding the split seam on the resonator. It should last at least up to the 5 year mark. This is the latest problem of at least almost a dozen. I bought the car new.
Previous problems: Overstated mileage claims, bad windshield wipers, worn out fuel pump, stretched chain causing bent valves, hard spots on half worn brake rotor causing extreme vibration leading to speed sensor damage, bad wheel bearing, poor paint quality under doors at the seams, broken lumbar support bracket in seat, economy mode switch that caused transmission to bang loudly when engaged, humming noise at the steering gear box when turning steering wheel. That is 11 problems, some major and the brake rotor vibration problem cost me 600 (Canadian).
Can't the consumer expect 5 years of trouble free driving anymore?
