Really, only 119,000 miles. Dealer technician did not indicate which of the two converters it was. Another mechanic says it has to be the first one coming off the manifold. Dealer wants 1376. I can buy the part for 534 and get it fixed for 275. Will likely go with the latter. Dealer service manager says it would not have been related to the previous repaired excessive oil consumption. The other mechanic said it is very likely that it was.
GM got my tax dollars to save their company. i buy their vehicle and this is only one issue among others I've had.
