I replaced a compressor a year ago under extended warranty. I had to just replace (out of my pocket) another compressor and the condenser for a bundle of money! Had the car back and within 3 days had to take it back due to a message on my dash saying it was going in safe battery mode. I immediately went back to the dealership and they diagnosed my compressor was bad again. They told me they must have a problem with this particular compressor... duh! This one was covered but I am still a bit miffed about having to pay for another compressor when it was only a year old. I have had cars for years that NEVER had an AC problem. This car is only 8 years old.
