Consumers GMC Suburban has a factory installed hitch, with a crack and two splits in the hitch. The consumer believed there was defect with the hitch. The consumer stated one of the cracks looked as though it had been there since manufacturing and the other split looked as though it was caused by thin metal on soft steel.
