The contact stated there was NHTSA recall campaign 03V159000 concerning the windshield wiper/washer. This vehicle experienced the same failure as indicated in the recall, but was not included in the recall due to VIN. The contact has not repaired the vehicle at this time.
Recall 98 V 150 001/windshield wiper wiring: Windshield wipers work intermittently, problem can result in inoperative wipers, reducing a driver's visibility, and increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that this vehicle was not covered under recall due to VIN.
EA95026, poor braking performance; when applying the brakes suddenly all four wheels lock up, causing extended stopping distance. Driver has no control of the vehicle, this happens on any type of road surface. The dealer has not been notified about the problem. Windshield wipers work intermittently
Windshield wiper motor, HVAC controls, door window motors (2), alternator, and radio failed between 50,000 and 75,000. Battery died while truck undergoing HVAC controls replacement. Windshield motor failure occurred during storm--nearly catastrophic consequences. Despite our repeated attempts, neither GM nor dealer has made good on any repair/replacement costs.
The 1st year rotors cracked & brakes replaced. Windshield wiper motor stopped working during a storm. Dealer replaced motor. Problem still exists. Driver's door window shattered. ABS light came on & remained on. Module was gone & had it replaced.
