This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on or reduced power message. Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Codes P0106, P0107, P0697, P2122, P2123, P2127, P2128 and P2138. Technician should follow published Service Information diagnostics for the Diagnostic Trouble Codes that have set, if it is inconclusive inspect the wiring harness near the left instrument panel junction block. Technician will need to repair the damaged wiring.
