The contact owns a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact was towing a trailer and braking from 20 mph when the brakes did not engage. The brake warning light illuminated. The contact was able to stop the vehicle by using the trailer brakes. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that the brake lines were corroded and failed. The brake lines were replaced. The failure and current mileages were 96,000.
