This Preliminary information communicates an issue with the rear tail / parking lights staying on and do not time out after exiting the vehicle and passive locking the vehicle. This condition can lead to a dead battery.  GM Engineering is working on a fix. Because this condition only occurs if passive locking is used please turn off passive locking in vehicle settings until a fix is released.Â
