Truck is a 2019 and was purchased with less than 30k miles. Paint and body looked great on the lot, I am extremely detail orientated. It's been 3 months since my purchase and free car washes are included in my purchase from the Cadillac in my area where it was purchased. Today I got a wash and came back to touch up since they suck at drying and I noticed the AT4 badge was loose. With very little effort the badge came off, not a big deal since I wanted to de badge anyway.
Upon further inspection I noticed what appears to be moisture under the clear coat or base coat? This is apparently a known problem since there are multiple lawsuits against GM for 2015-2019 Sierra paint failing. Called the dealer and they said since it is out of original warranty and my new bumper to bumper doesn't cover paint, I have to pay for the repairs. This is a 4 year old vehicle in almost perfect condition, even smelled new when purchased. For the paint to be falling apart so soon is absolutely ridiculous. And GM being aware of the problem, and still doing nothing just shows how terrible makers have gotten over the years. This is my first new vehicle that I worked my ass off for, and it's adding a sour taste in my mouth on top of my pregnant wife being PISSED!
