The vehicle was towed to the local mechanic, who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the torque converter, transmission pump assembly, and reverse clutch were faulty, and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 50,000. The VIN was not available.
