First time I was turning around a curb at a fast food when suddenly the steering wheel jerked out of my hands and slightly back again a couple times then stopped. I was shocked that it happened. I started asking around and come to find out the steering is electronic, not good. A week later I was backing into a parking spot when it did it again. After completing my appointment I immediately drove straight to the GM dealership where I had purchased my truck a year ago. I walked into service and asked if there was a recall on the problem. The answer was NO, but I made an appointment for the following week anyway to have it checked out. The service tech did mention it mat be a software problem. When the incident occurs it also changes both the driving screen and the center dash screen to a different caption. It gives a scary feeling knowing that it may happen any time. It has happened a couple more times, fortunately at slow speeds.
