Today we received 25cms of snow. I thought to myself, well good thing I have a 4X4 truck. I put it in 4X4 and backed out of my driveway. Now, I had already cleared the snow so it was not a problem. I got to the street and put the truck in Drive, I had the selector on 4H as this in not my first 4X4 vehicle. I pushed on the gas and could not believe the sound that came from the Axle Shafts, crazy whirling Sound. The loudest 4X4 I have ever driven in my life. Not just noisy as old get out but no Power what so ever... I had to basically floor the throttle to move the truck and there was only a couple of inches of snow on the ground.. Absolutely insane, a big 5.3L V8 and the truck can barley move with out flooring it..
Mind you I was not surprised as I had already experienced the Transmission being confused and not knowing what gear it should be in. Once again brought it back to the dealership, the proverbial we cannot duplicate the issue, that is the nature of the truck. I am so sick and tired of hearing this, every single time I bring it in I hear that same catch phrase.
This in my very first new vehicle, I cannot believe this is happening to me. Absolute disregard for their Customers. I am sure we are all in the same boat. Unfortunately, I planned on driving this truck for 10 Years as we keep our vehicles and drive them into the ground. I am sure this one will not last that long and hopefully, it lasts long enough for me to pay it off in 84 months. But I am not getting my hopes up,,,,, that is for certain!!!
